Chase Purdy is a New York-based journalist currently writing about the business, politics, and technology of food for Quartz. His stories have also appeared in POLITICO, The New York Times and in newspapers across the United States — collected from courtrooms, crime scenes, laboratories, and the halls of government. He is currently writing a book about future foods.

When he’s not scribbling in a notebook or tweaking a lede, he can be found thrashing away on a tennis court or recording an episode of Hypercurious, the nerdy podcast he co-hosts.
